It was in 1955 that Alejandro Elizari and Felisa García inaugurated the restaurante Josetxo in a first-floor flat in Calle Estafeta. Amongst its distinguished diners were Hemingway, Antonio Machín and many others. Thirty years later, in 1985, in our strive to improve, we moved to our current premises located in Plaza Principe de Viana, 1. Our restaurant occupies the first two floors of a late 19th Century building classified as a historical monument. Today, the second and third generations live together in this restaurant which forms part of the family’s heritage.
